According to head coach Glen Gulutzan, Benn suffered an apparent upper body injury approximately 15-minutes into yesterdays match against the Minnesota Wild.
Sam Nestler, host at DLLS_Stars, reports that “Jamie Benn was the only one absent from Group A today”. This injury doesn’t seem to serious as Benn looks to bounce back from his lackluster 24-25 season where he missed time due to a lower-body injury.
Only time will tell if The Captain is ok, but Gulutzan is rightly airing on the side of caution. Benn has been labeled as ‘day-to-day’ and will hopefully be ready for game 1.
